Individual document on the consequence of the actual health crisis

Individual document on the consequence of the actual health crisis

Since there's this big, worlwide and suprising health crisis who has took over, the artsy world has taken a new point of view.
Corona virus has a lot to do with our notion "Spaces and exchanges". Spaces have reduced, since we are only allowed to stay at home, or go outside for essential goods with special devices: masks and gloves, and social distancing.
Also, exchanges are limited too. Commercial exchanges are tight and social exchanges are almost absent, since we can only see people who cohabit with ourselves.

As I was scrolling through Instagram for the 5649 time in a day, I saw this 2002 image from artist Glen Wexler. This american photographic artist is mainly known for his digital photocompositions of improbable situations, as we can see in this picture.
This image shows a girl in an all transparent suit, with an "astronauty" thing for her head. She's walking her sog who's also kept in a clear glass bubble. I really like the styles and colors of the photograph, but what stroke me most was the fact that it was from 2002. This avant-garde artist has taken a 8 years jump and has imagined perfectly what would be the reality for 2020.

For me, this pictures illustrates very well the notion in link with our actual crisis situation. Spaces are reduced: she's probably walling her dog only in her neighbourhood, as it's the only thing we are allowed to do. Also, the exchanges are also seen as difficults: physical intercourses can't happen in her transparent suit. Even thought we don't have the same  type of suits, the masks and gloves have the same effect since we can't touch, or kiss anybody.
